Tanzanian singer, composer, and recording artist Raymond Shaban born August 22, 1993, is also known by his stage name, Rayvanny, he was signed to the WCB Wasafi record company until July 2022 when he decided to be on his own. He is the most successful bongo flava musician. His music is mostly in Swahili. He is the Next Level Music’s founder and CEO. The song “Kwetu” is Rayvanny’s rise to fame in the first place.

3. Harmonize

Rajab Abdul Kahali is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava recording artist and entrepreneur, better known by his stage name Harmonize.

Harmonize has collaborated on numerous projects with various African musicians throughout his career, including Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Ruger, Sarkodie, and Naira Marley.

His song  “Kwangwaru” had over 108 million views in late 2023 and it is proof of his hard work and talent, he also has lots of fans from across the world.

4. Zuchu

Tanzanian singer-songwriter Zuhura Othman Soud, best known by her stage name Zuchu, was born in Zanzibar on November 22, 1984. she reached 100,000 followers in less than a week, and she received a Silver Plaque Button from YouTube. Within a week, she achieved that feat, making history as the first female artist from East Africa.

Mbosso is well-known for his songs “Nadekezwa” and “Hodari,” which got him the 2019 HiPipo Awards as the Video of the Year award.

Due to his talents and mastery, one of his hit songs has over 32 million views, since the start of his career he has gotten fans from all over the world.

Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and music producer Omary Ally Mwanga, also known by his stage name Marioo, was born on December 31, 1995. His popularity in Tanzania has been largely attributed to his singles, which include Mama Amina, Dear Ex, Raha, Mi Amor, and Naogopa.

His song “Mi Amor” which featured talented artist Jovial, has over 31 million views since its release, it also helped push marioo out more to the public thereby placing him in the 8th position.
